About Chuckling Pig
Our Mission
As you learned if you read my biography, I enjoy cooking almost as much as I love eating and diners are one of my favorite places to eat. I love diners. The atmosphere in a diner, the food they serve and the people you meet are all part of the diner experience. Successful diners are friendly and they are warm. They are almost always local in character and have become a part of the community. I have found that the smaller the town, the more important the diner.
The mission of the Chuckling Pig is to celebrate the American classic diners and coffee shops by studying and recreating some of the recipes that are diner standbys. If you can find it on a diner menu then you will someday be able to find it on the Chuckling Pig menu. I will give you a little history, a little nostalgia and a whole lot of recipes as part of my tribute to the American diner.
